Welcome to AskFishka. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and limitations that apply when using our platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to these terms.

AskFishka (“we”, “our”, “the platform”) is a service that connects dog owners (“users”) with independent dog‑treat bakers and service providers (“bakers”) located in the Netherlands. We do not produce, sell, or ship dog treats ourselves. We provide a digital space where users and bakers can discover each other and communicate directly.

2. Nature of the Service

AskFishka acts solely as a connection platform. We do not:

  • bake or sell dog treats
  • guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any products
  • participate in transactions between users and bakers
  • verify ingredients or production methods
  • handle payments (if applicable in the future, this section will be updated)

All products, services, and interactions are the responsibility of the independent bakers and users.

3. User Responsibilities

By using our platform, users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Use the platform respectfully and lawfully
  • Review product descriptions and ingredients carefully
  • Ensure treats are suitable for their dog’s dietary needs
  • Contact bakers directly for questions, orders, or clarifications

Users acknowledge that they are responsible for their dog’s health and safety when choosing treats.

4. Baker Responsibilities

Independent bakers using our platform agree to:

  • Provide accurate descriptions of their products
  • List ingredients clearly and honestly
  • Follow Dutch food safety guidelines
  • Communicate professionally with users
  • Deliver products as agreed between both parties

Bakers are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of their products.

5. Platform Limitations & Liability

AskFishka is not liable for:

  • product quality, safety, or suitability
  • allergic reactions or health issues
  • delivery delays or failed deliveries
  • miscommunication between users and bakers
  • inaccurate information provided by bakers
  • any damages resulting from the use of treats or services

Users and bakers interact at their own discretion and responsibility.

6. Pricing & Fees

During our launch period, AskFishka is free for all users and bakers for the first month. We reserve the right to introduce pricing or subscription models in the future. Any changes will be communicated clearly and in advance.

Bakers set their own product prices. AskFishka is not responsible for pricing disputes or refunds.

7. Accounts & Termination

If accounts are used on the platform, we reserve the right to:

  • suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms
  • restrict access in cases of misuse, fraud, or harmful behavior

Users may request account deletion at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on AskFishka — including text, design, branding, and layout — is owned by AskFishka unless otherwise stated. Bakers retain ownership of their product photos, descriptions, and branding.

Users may not copy, reproduce, or misuse any content from the platform.

9. Privacy & Data Use

10. Third‑Party Links

Some baker profiles may include links to external websites or social media. AskFishka is not responsible for the content, safety, or practices of third‑party sites.

Users visit external links at their own risk.

11. Ingredient & Allergy Disclaimer

Because our platform features dog treats:

  • Bakers must list ingredients honestly
  • Users must review ingredients before purchasing
  • AskFishka is not responsible for allergic reactions or dietary issues

If in doubt, users should consult a veterinarian before giving new treats to their dog.

12. Health & Safety Disclaimer

AskFishka does not provide veterinary advice. Treats listed on the platform are not medical products. Users are responsible for ensuring treats are appropriate for their dog’s health.
